Flowriders is the band of producer and keys player Vincent Helbers. He started his career performing, writing and recording contemporary acoustic jazz, and now combines this with hip hop, broken beat and electronics. Fat grooves, tricky arrangements and 'jazz-wise' soloing make the band sound both raw and sophisticated. Flowriders are a primarily live band unlike almost all other acts within this area of music.

RUEDY features vocalists Nia Saw, Spoonface and regular collaborator Colonel Red, not to mention live drum contribution from Richard Spaven who has worked with Marc de Clive Lowe, 4hero, TY, Guru and many others. The sound on RUEDY is cosmic, twisted hip-hop-bruk-soul laced with soulful vocals all done in a 'future manner'. A must for fans of 4Hero, Jill Scott, Bugz In The Attic and Gilles Peterson.

A 12" EP is also available featuring the CO-OP smash hit Russelology, two vinyl-only tracks, a Marc de Clive Lowe remix plus an unreleased bonus track.
